2025GSIL Signs MOU with Leading Law Firm for EU Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (Jul 2025)

GSIL, a smart safety management company led by CEO Jeongwoo Lee, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 7 with a leading Korean law firm specializing in corporate compliance to collaborate on Industrial Safety and Serious Accident Compliance in relation to the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).

Since its establishment in 2013, GSIL has received investment from major corporations such as Samsung E&A and has provided consulting, planning, design, and implementation services for smart safety and health technologies to a wide range of clients — including Saudi Aramco, Samsung Electronics, LH (Korea Land & Housing Corporation), SH (Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation), Korea District Heating Corporation, and COEX.

The law firm has extensive experience and expertise in handling numerous cases related to Serious Accident Punishment Act compliance and ESG advisory for large corporations and government agencies in the petrochemical, logistics, F&B, and power generation sectors, particularly before and after the enforcement of the CSDDD.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will combine the law firm’s compliance risk management expertise with GSIL’s advanced smart safety technology to offer an integrated one-stop service that merges legal advisory with on-site safety and health management systems.
